Low carbohydrates diet is one of the most effective ways to lose weight.
The problem of most of the diets is that they are complicated, they need
cooking, and preparation of the food for next day and you should eat in some
certain times.
This low carbohydrates diet’s purpose is to help people who are super busy
and want to lose weight without cooking and complicates schemes.
In the morning you drink coffee or tea, without sugar. In case you can’t
drink without sugar, you can use 1 small teaspoon (better not-refined).
Breakfast – drink one yogurt; shake it before use to be able to drink.
For lunch you can eat as much as you want fillet or fillet with salad
(salad made of fresh vegetables, not milky salad, Russian, potatoes or other
packed salad – only fresh vegetables are allowed). Do not eat bread.
For dinner you can eat as much as you want fillet, and salad made from
fresh vegetables again.
If you eat 2 times 150 grams of fillet – it makes 300 grams per day. Of
course burly man can eat more than a short woman, so everyone should decide the
quantity for himself. It is important to make note how much you eat for a day,
to be able to calculate how much you need to buy for 1 week of low
carbohydrates diet.
Shopping
list for the week:
- Coffee or tea
- 7 yogurts – you can choose different brands.
- 2-3 kilograms of meat fillet (if you eat 300 g. per day for 7 days - 2 kg and 100 grams for the week). Take 7 different kinds of meat, packed separately, so you will be taking one bag for the day and the food for the office is done. For example you can buy 300 g. chicken, 300 g. calf, 300 g. turkey, 300 g. fish, and 300 g. of other kind by your choice, for every 7 days, and you will have variety for the week.
- Vegetables, if you think to make your salads – tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, green onion, lettuce and others.
Other foods that you can eat when you are on a
low carbohydrate diet:
- Eggs (boiled),
- Cheese in small amounts because they contain fats,
- Wholegrain bread in small amounts – 1 slice per day,
- Olives – 5-10 per day,
- Oats – 2 table spoons per day,
- Every kind of fresh vegetables,
- Baked fish,
- Beans, peas, lentil – 3 times a week for lunch – 1 cup without bread, with salad (This meal replaces the meat fillet).
Forbidden
foods and drinks during the low carbohydrates diet
- White bread
- Carbonated drinks – they contain a lot of sugar and they are the main problem for many people because you can easily drink 1 liter coca cola and after it you will still feel hungry, but you stuffed yourself with sugar in the meantime. If you normally drink a lot of carbonated drinks, you may lose weight if you only stop them.
- Alcohol, even beer. Alcohol has a lot of sugar too
- Sweet things – if something is sweet you cannot eat it, even the fruits.
- Fried foods
- Rice – if you eat only 2-3 table spoons of boiled rice with the meat, its OK but not more than that
- Potatoes – 100 g. of boiled potatoes for a day is OK. For example you can replace 1 slice of wholegrain bread with 100 g. boiled potatoes (never fry the potatoes) or 2-3 table spoons of boiled rice.
- Fruits – they have a lot of carbohydrates. If you eat one apple 2-3 times per week or 1 orange it is OK but most of the fruits are with high level of carbohydrates and you should avoid them when you are keeping low carbohydrates diet
- Fresh, juices – you stuff yourself with carbohydrates without noticing. Other than carbohydrates juices also have preservatives. If you want to drink juice so much, better take fresh but remember that one glass of fresh is made from 2-3 fruits and that is a lot of carbohydrates.
- Sauces – they are dangerous – contain a lot of fats and carbohydrates.
- Pizza, pasta, cakes, biscuits – if it’s made from dough – then it has carbohydrates.
